Logical Measures

Human responses to fear can’t be understood in logical terms, but humans are only logical when it comes to what they are motivated to achieve. “Safety” is as much perceived as one’s place in the social order as it is in the complicated hierarchy of actual threats. There’s a lot of truth to that. I see it in my own close friend group. We can take certain risks others can’t because we know we have a solid team behind us.
