But instead, I get caught up in sorting.

Kristen drew this amazing design for a client and I found inspiration and challenge in translating it into Lego.
I decided to simplify and start by turning this minifigure accesory into a large piece.
It was a day full of failures.
I’ll have to start from scratch…again, but that’s alright, I love a trial-and-error launch.
I experimented today while we had a house full of homeschooled builders. They had a lot more success than I did.
These are two of my most recent builds.
I enjoy the entire process of building with Lego: sorting, planning, building, rebuilding, breaking down, and sorting again.
I’d like to give myself a new project, but not I don’t know what to attempt next.
Our friends are First Lego League Champions and hosted an outreach festival with a contest, robot demonstrations, and free building.
We’re getting ready to host an ocean-themed building event and I enjoyed yesterday’s set so much that I’m constructing a modified duplicate.
I’ve had this set sitting in my closet for years and finally took some time to put it together.
New families joined our Lego Unschool Club this week and we had a wonderful time building and breaking down.
Our monthly Lego group had parents and children building like crazy!
Some worked with instructions and others free built.
