I haven’t watched this debate between Dave Smith and Josh Hammer on whether the US-Israel relationship is good for America, but I am looking forward to diving into this subject.
It was a busy day, but I did have some driving time to check out a New Rockstars breakdown of the new Thunderbolts trailer. This is my favorite channel for all things MCU, and their breakdowns are incredibly thorough.
I’m delivering a talk on unschooling in March and *gasp* I’ve never read a book on the subject. I’m going to change that with John Holt’s How Children Learn.
At the moment, I’m tackling a plumbing problem at home, so I’m warming up by listening to a discussion with Pat Farenga, who worked with Holt.
I’ve only just begun listening to Wesley Huff with Joe Rogan, but I’ve already learned things about the book of Isaiah. Huff’s knowledge of language, Biblical history, and contextual studies is immense.
I don’t fully see how the Founding Fathers used this Scripture to establish a nascent empire, but Thaddeus Russell does establish that this country was fundamentally designed to be expansionist.
Genesis 1:22 KJV — And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
Matthew 28:16-20 KJV — Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
